ETU Secretary Troy Gray kicked of the meeting with an update on negotiations and the industrial/ political environment we are currently operating in. Senator Jacqui Lambie also addressed
the meeting, slamming the Trade Unions Royal Commission and ABCC and labelling the Fair Work Act the 'unFair Work Act'.
Attendees also heard a report from the CUB55 on their long- running dispute and voted
en masse to attend a rally the following day to support the CUB workers.
