FOR NON-PAYERS ON UNION CONDITIONS
Nothing annoys a good, fee-paying unionist more than a freeloader. We all know the type: happy to enjoy the benefits of union pay and conditions; not so happy to cough up and pay their fair share.
This year we’re doing something about it.
Your shop stewards and organisers have been asked to conduct a workplace audit of every ETU shop. They will be mapping each workplace to determine the number of workers eligible to join the ETU, the number of financial members and the number of unfinancial members.
This information is vital to help ensure we remain strong and grow our membership. Look out for the workplace audit later this year and please cooperate with your shop steward and organiser as they collect this important data.
