One day, quite out of the blue, I suddenly started to feel so unwell that I knew I needed to call an ambulance. I was taken to hospital, where it turns out that I had suffered a minor heart attack. Receiving a bill for $4,000 for the trip to hospital was another nasty shock – until I discovered that I was covered by the ETU’s Ambulance Benefit. I was very grateful that I had the ETU to look after it for me.
Since that day, my ETU membership has brought me peace of mind... Because you never know when the unexpected might happen.
